Learning to walk again

New thing today, learning to walk again. Sprained my ankle recently. Really rough and haven’t been able to put any weight on it. It swelled pretty bad and hurts a lot. Anyway first day I’ve been able to put any weight on it and… well… learning to walk again. In honor of the Foo Fighters.

Walk by Foo Fighters

A million miles away
Your signal in the distance
To whom it may concern
I think I lost my way
Getting good at starting over
Every time that I return
Learning to walk again
I believe I've waited long enough
Where do I begin?
Learning to talk again
Can't you see I've waited long enough?
Where do I begin?
Do you remember the days?
We built these paper mountains
Then sat and watched them burn
I think I found my place
Can't you feel it growing stronger
Little conquerors
Learning to walk again
I believe I've waited long enough
Where do I begin?
Learning to talk again
I believe I've waited long enough
Where do I begin?
Now,
For the very first time
Don't you pay no mind
Set me free, again
To keep alive, a moment at a time
That's still inside, a whisper to a riot
The sacrifice, the knowing to survive
The first decline, another state of mind
I'm on my knees, I'm praying for a sign
Forever, whenever, I never wanna die
I never wanna die
I never wanna die
I'm on my knees, I never wanna die
I'm dancing on my grave
I'm running through the fire
Forever, whenever
I never wanna die
I never wanna leave
I'll never say goodbye
Forever, whenever
Forever, whenever
Learning to walk again
I believe I've waited long enough
Where do I begin?
Learning to talk again
Can't you see I've waited long enough?
Where do I begin?
Learning to walk again
I believe I've waited long enough
Learning to talk again
Can't you see I've waited long enough?

Vacation Music Videos

New thing today, watched a bunch of vacation music videos. Friend of a friend, set to music, a bunch of vacation video clips. Amazing editing and it was so fun and cool. Made me want to go on vacations again, and it was so well put together. Amazing music and video clips. So neat. So fun. Everyone has adventures and shares them in different ways. Made me want to make vacation music videos….

Don't Go Yet - Camila Cabello

New thing today, music discovery. I forgot how much music moves me, and looking back at old posts made me think of finding new music. The old songs are getting old. Am in desperate need of new music. Here is a new discovery - it is a hot mess. Absolutely insane and also, fabulous. It would be amazing to go to this family hangout. Don't Go Yet by Camila Cabello.  Wait for it... and it's a good kind of strange. Enjoy!

Wall of Graffiti by San Pedro "Stairway to the Ocean"

Random art appreciation. On our visit to San Pedro, CA we explored the "Stairway to the Ocean" (go ahead and google it). Anyway on the way down and up, the thing I liked was the graffiti wall. The photos don't do it justice but it was this really neat long mesh of color and squiggles and designs and tagging on the entire wall. No comment on what the tagging represented as I don't know. Also I am not a fan of destruction of property, but overall it was an interesting sight and something new and different. Here's to murals and colors and art on walls.

Holy S restarting to Blog

Been, in a slump. Girl ISO.... a hobby, a creative distraction, a way to reconnect. Was on a break walk outside today and thought of starting a new blog. Decided to look up this old one and holy smokes, it's still around. Reading back through the posts, they were pretty good. Things I forgot, things I left behind and things that I remember (or didn't remember). I doubt I'll post daily, but I think it is important to remember, there are daily new discoveries to discover and share. Perhaps old rediscoveries as well. Anyway just fun to read old posts, and I look forward to creating new ones.
