Trail Mix Pan de Sal

New thing today, made my pan de sal bread recipe but mixed in some chopped trail mix. Baked and it turned out pretty tasty! Also pretty on my plate. You can take an good reliable recipe, and throw in some new ingredients to spice things up. Cover song remix if you will.

Brace Yourself

New thing today, wearing an ankle brace to work. Recently I sprained my ankle, bad. Was working from home a few weeks, then a one week chillax staycation. First day back with the brace and 25% capacity (according to doc). So far so good. Thankfully had shoes that fit with brace. So there. Always be careful walking and I never thought I would appreciate walking and my legs as much as I do now. Healing slowly. Baby steps.

Sunflower Chairs

New thing today, bought some sunflower chairs at a consignment store. Great deal! Dog not included.

Hotel del Luna

New thing today, started my first Korean drama - Hotel del Luna. Watching on Netflix. Its a hotel for ghosts with gorgeous rich sets, costume and scenery, and some fabulous drama. So far sooooooooooo good. SO good! Kind of sassy and comedic. Bit spooky and paranormal. Lot o heart. Really pretty and surreal. Its like everything I love. 

Learning to walk again

New thing today, learning to walk again. Sprained my ankle recently. Really rough and haven’t been able to put any weight on it. It swelled pretty bad and hurts a lot. Anyway first day I’ve been able to put any weight on it and… well… learning to walk again. In honor of the Foo Fighters.

New thing today, watched a bunch of vacation music videos. Friend of a friend, set to music, a bunch of vacation video clips. Amazing editing and it was so fun and cool. Made me want to go on vacations again, and it was so well put together. Amazing music and video clips. So neat. So fun. Everyone has adventures and shares them in different ways. New thing today, music discovery. I forgot how much music moves me, and looking back at old posts made me think of finding new music. The old songs are getting old. Am in desperate need of new music. Here is a new discovery - it is a hot mess. Absolutely insane and also, fabulous.
