New thing of the day, camped out in our living room.
We took advantage of the long weekend by finally painting the master bedroom. Our first painting project, came out with a room color that we weren't completely satisfied with. It reminded me of wintergreen and was far too light and pastel to work. So we decided on another color and took the plunge last night. Turns out the darker sage green worked fabulous in our master bedroom and it was totally awesome.
Unfortunately that meant we were camping/sleeping out in the living room with our bed and stuff moved out. We prepped and painted the first coat of paint Wednesday night, let it dry overnight, and painted the second coat Thursday morning before Thanksgiving with the family.
It's very crowded in the living room and you have to climb over a few things before you can sit on the couch. Overall though, an interesting first, but I'm glad it's only temporary. We got a new bed frame from Ikea, so we've got to put that together before we can move back into our room. Good thing I was a girl scout :)
