New thing today, saw the FBI Exhibit at the Reagan Library. Overall the Reagan Library has excellent exhibits and this was one of them. They had a number of exhibits of famous FBI case investigations such as those of Bonnie and Clyde, DB Cooper, Alcatraz escapes, forgeries, 9/11, Unibomber, PanAm bombing, Oklahoma City bombing and others.
They also had a neat FBI exhibit on training agents, showing Hogan's Alley town where they train as well as a digital shooting gallery to test and score your shooting ability. That was very fun and interactive. We did 2 rounds and we both failed but husband got top score first round and I got top score second round. Definitely made me want to consider a career with the FBI.
I was surprised how emotional I got reading through and seeing the exhibits on bombings and victims. Kind of similar to how I felt visiting ground zero at WTC. Just very sad and emotional for those who were the victims and how many of those died from bombers.
The gift shop had FBI jackets and other FBI branded memorabilia. The cafeteria had renovated since last time we were there to be more open and highly digitized where you order on a touchscreen and grab and go what you want. We also visited the 2 fighter jets and the new tank in the lower parking lot/lower museum outdoor area. Overall a nice morning.
Great exhibit and museum overall - do go! FBI exhibit is from July 2, 2021 – January 9, 2022.
