The picking up part was part of a plan. In-laws were coming back from a trip overseas, so they arrived at LAX and too the Van Nuys Flyaway bus from LAX to the San Fernando Valley. This is a fabulous service that I highly recommend to anyone travelling. It saves so much time and hassel for relatives and is a great service for the community. Go efficient public transportation!
The new thing was running into a coworker leaving for a family trip for the weekend at the same terminal. It was funny because I went to sit down and wait for the in-laws, and when I looked up I saw my coworker staring right at me like - Oh my goodness what are you doing here? That was fun and we said hello and it was nice to send him off with a friendly face on his trip. I was glad because I left work today and realized I didn't give him a hug and send-off of "have a great trip" before I left. So it was good for me to see him, because I could say - hey - have a good trip!
So that was new and very cool. Very, kismet.
