New thing today, left our dog with a friend to dog sit for a few days. Going on a trip and needed a dog sitter. New thing is we've never had this friend watch our dog before. She's pretty awesome. She has 3 dogs of her own, one similar to our stray mix who we think is a shitzu/lhapso apso or whatnot? She loves dogs and has dog sit before so we were confident & happy she is in charge. Only thing is, I think I'm going to miss our dog. We got her in March this year. The only other time we left her to go on a trip was April, so this is different because we've bonded with her so much more, she's our girl now. Anyway, going to enjoy our trip, just will miss the wagging tail, the happy steps in the house and some dog kisses. But we'll be home soon. Just away for awhile.
