Cooking Experiments, Butter, Parmesan, Tortillas, Onions & Swiss

New thing of the day, sharing my cooking last minute scrounging up experiments. Wasn't super hungry for dinner and we didn't have a lot in the fridge. Decided to wing it and try 3 things together I've never had together, tortillas with Swiss cheese & onions. Simple and surprisingly good :)

Another time made impromptu made butter & parmesan pasta. I accidentally cooked an entire bag of dried pasta instead of the planned upon half. I only had enough tomato sauce for about half, so in 5 minutes had to think of something to do with the other half of the fresh cooked hot pasta so it wouldn't go to waste.

I thought of garlic & olive oil (no good would have to cut up garlic), so I settled on just adding butter to the pasta. Then saw the Parmesan and some lemon juice & decided to try it out. Butter & Parmesan on fresh hot pasta makes an amazing flavor - like a lighter Alfredo. Husband and I actually loved that experiment more than the tomato pasta I made. I added a few drops of lemon to some of my pasta - not so good. But we did find a new easy delicious pasta! So easy! Just melt and add butter, and a ton of Parmesan to hot just cooked pasta. Fab!
