Chocolate Chip Cookies!

New thing today, homemade chocolate chip cookies. I've made cookies before, but never from scratch. It was also made with Splenda since the husband is diabetic. Joy of Cooking drop chocolate chip cookie recipe.

I was worried since last weekend I made biscuits with baking soda and the first batch bad, 2nd batch ok edible. This time, first batch I thought would melt & expand like the instant dough stuff - nope it kept its shape which is why half the cookies look like balls. The 2nd batch I flattened and they turned out prettier. Overall both batches edible and yum! Success :)
